His legal career spans over a decade as an attorney within the judicial system, where he has tirelessly worked to bridge the disparities faced by underserved communities and administer justice and equality under the law.

Matt’s dedication extends into every corner of Champaign County. As a proud graduate of the United Way of Champaign County’s Emerging Community Leaders Class of 2019 and President of the Young Professionals of Champaign-Urbana, he leads by example, fostering leadership and supporting minority-owned businesses.
